In February 2004, Forward Technologies settled its lawsuit with telecom giant SBC Communications, Inc. Forward had brought suit against Pacific Bell and SBC in June of 2002. Pacific Bell and SBC ultimately agreed to an amicable resolution of the matter. Later that same year, several other companies also followed SBC's lead and took licenses under the Forward patents. |
